Recent Works, Game Project

"There must always be a dumb quote before every post. ALWAYS."

Heyo everyone. Long ago I originally posted here on some of my projects which nowadays are deader than dead. Today I bring back this tradition with something I'm doing in the background: a PS1-stylized game involving the character I recently made and created some art of. I'm currently working on the dreamy opening, have a look!

Oh, and the angel in the middle is your boss. He appears in 1 sequence but should leave a good mark! I worked on his model now to get a feel of how I should do things like art assets. He won't appear here in the final game haha.

This game is made using Godot Engine 3.2.3, you can check it out here. It has been the engine behind some of my games in itch.io (including one I'll finish after all this, Conundrum of James) and it's very cool. It can even export to HTML5! If you think for a moment, that means that given I make use of some plugins, I could have this game right here in NG. It's become a serious consideration!

My recent short, FRIDAY NIGHT FLUNKING has become very popular on twitter and presumely quite a bit in here. ninjamuffin99 had watched it on stream and gave it the big stars! Who sent it to him? Tom Fulp! I was very shocked by these events. I must thank all of you for this support. Nowadays when I want to post some new art, or check out some cool ones, I only think more and more of here.

It's a community I was scared of entering, like many. Then you opened your arms! It makes me feel warm and happy knowing I made some of your days much happier. These are strange, dark times, where we've become distant, some of us losing hope. It's these communities, art, videos, games that inspire us, keeps us going. So, hey, have a great day!
